Ten Day Challenge: Day Two

1. I am completely ignorant of the things that do not interest me.

2. I actually TRULY love the course I'm studying. I just don't like my electives.

3. I'm way too ambitious for it to be good for me. I have dreamt up an elaborate life ahead of me.

4. My biggest fear is never achieving those ambitions.

5. I procrastinate incessantly.

6. I enjoy working with children but sometimes I feel its time to try something new.

7. I want to go bungee jumping.

8. I feel most free and happy when I'm at the beach--I don't know why.

9. I look rough around the edges but I'm actually a girly girl in a lot of ways.

Ten Day Challenge: Day One

Mr. Titanium: Thank you for being strong when we needed you to and thank you for all the advice that you've given me. You're the coolest dad--I don't know any other dads who openly talk about dating and making mistakes with their kids. I love you.

Wondermom: You are the best that I could have asked for. I may not say this enough but I appreciate all the sacrifices that you have made to get us where we are today. You are my everything and I couldn't imagine living without you.

GleeSpamGirl: You are beautiful and kind. I wish you'd see that in yourself. You deserve all the good things in life and if you'd only open your eyes and realize this, the world will make itself available to you too. <3

Babestar: There are days when i hate your guts, but all those nights we spend talking and every laughter we share makes me miss you whenever I don't have you around.

Big Boss: I don't know what I did to deserve such a good friend as yourself. Most people think that you're just a mentor to me, but to me, you're my second mother and my friend. I love that you switch between these two roles so well whenever I need you to be one or the other. I'm so grateful to have found you.

Mashimaro: Some days, I feel like you're the only one I have around here. Thank you for all the days you were there. I miss you.

theEx: I didn't know I'd ever say this back then but seriously, thank you for leaving. You did me a favour.

RockStar: Sometimes, you're my only source of sanity, just so you know.

Mr. SmartyPants: Keep helping me produce more neurons :) and good God, stop calling me your future wife, DUDE!

Caker: I wish we never got into that ridiculous fight, and I wish, when I asked you to choose, you didn't choose to walk away.

Dear You,

I'm so grateful to have found you: a friend with whom I can talk for hours on end without running out of things to discuss, and still have the ability to sometimes sit with and not say or do anything but enjoy the silence.

Thank you; for coming into my life; for changing the way I feel and think about things; for opening me up to a world of new things. You are wonderful.

You were right when you said you've nothing to improve :) so, stay the same

Yes, this is what the world has come to. We categorize and label people like we're perfect, because from day one, we're taught by the people around us that we're the best, and we therefore have the right to look at people a certain way. We're taught that there is a norm, and that this norm is one we must submit to. And then at some point, they screw up whatever understanding we had about those norms, and tell us that we must become individuals, special and unique. Then, all we have is whatever we used to believe, and what they're trying to make us believe, which is right about when they leave us hanging.
